Jeff Truthan has served the rehabilitation and disability management industry since 1973. His is a 1973 graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He earned a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1975. Jeff spent nine years in direct client services as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and Vocational Evaluator. From 1985 to 1997, Jeff used his "knowledge from the trenches" to serve in various support, sales, training, and product management capacities at Ability Information Systems / CAPCO: The Capability Corporation / JobQuest where he designed and supported a mix of PC and online products. He acquired those products in 1998 from JobQuest. In 2010, Jeff acquired the VERTEKâ product line, including OccuBrowse, OccuBrowse Plus, OASYS, and OASYS Job Match.
As President of SkillTRAN, Jeff continues to spearhead a multi-year effort to re-engineer these classic services into a web-based format. Jeff has designed a revolutionary new approach to the interpretation of labor market information that is rapidly achieving industry acceptance. Jeff is highly attuned to the needs of vocational rehabilitation and disability management professionalsand is inspired bytheir great questions and suggestions.
