Your counselor has selected a number of different job specialty codes (DOT Codes). Enter a DOT code into Job Browser Pro to determine the title. Record the title to the right of the DOT code number. Read the description. Click on Job Browser buttons to learn more about this occupation if you are interested in it.

After you have learned what you would like to know about this occupation, circle Yes, ?? or NO in the Interest column to show your level of interest. Look up the next DOT Code, write in its job title, then read up about it. Circle your interest level. Repeat for all of the DOT Codes in the list. Add other codes and titles you locate that are also of interest to you.

After you have read up on each of these choices and listed your interest level, then go back and assign an A, B, or C rating to each of the occupations in which you indicated a Yes or ??? interest. A = VERY INTERESTED, B = Interested, and C = Somewhat Interested. Review this list with your counselor.
