In the pipelineIn the pipeline ... by Jeff Truthan -SkillTRAN President

April 2015

Welcome to our new web site!  It is a long time in the making.  Lots of events during the last few years have shaped/re-shaped what, how and when we do what we can do.  We are so grateful for the continuing support of our combined SkillTRAN and VERTEK customer base during this time of business integration and "getting to know you".  My plan for this blog is to use this space to keep you up-to-speed with some of what we are doing and particularly where we are heading.  The fun part, product integration and creation of new features, is what "floats my boat".

We continue to work towards a combined "best of the best" set of solutions for our varied customer needs.  In 2012, we started by re-inventing our customer support processes, adding a great tool called TeamViewer that enables us to quickly diagnose and resolve customer product issues.  It also allows us to do mini-webinars/meetings/training sessions for both support and new customer inquiries.  Recently, we added a 30-day demo of our Job Browser Pro and OccuBrowse software ... so be sure to try it out if you have not already acquired either or both of these great products.

In mid 2012, we began a lengthy process of re-invention of our internal information management to help us better share/maintain information across our various distributed locations while minimizing data duplication. The transformation will impact our ability to more smoothly manage customer information, license information, potential new customers, shared product support knowledge, internal help desk, and project management.

Lots of customers ask us about multi-platform products (i.e. Mac/iOS, Android). We are very much committed to this path - development will begin with enthusiasm as we gain greater clarity as to what is actually going to emerge from the new effort by Social Security to create a "new OIS". Click here for the latest on this important development.

I am so pleased to have such a great crew aboard to make all these things happen and to breathe life into the new ideas which our customer base stimulates and suggests.  Keep those ideas coming ... we are always listening so that we can create solutions with the most broad appeal to our diverse and growing customer base. Thanks again for propelling us forward!
